The Poplar Grove Vintage Wings & Wheels Museum was established to preserve history, and educate youth and the general public about the significant contributions made to our country by winged and wheeled vehicles.
Our Mission: - Educate, Inspire, and Entertain.
  • Create an environment  reminiscent of the early airfield.
  • Provide an atmosphere friendly to youth that enthuses and educates them about early aviation and gets them in the air.
  • Provide facilities for local and regional activities that relate to historic aviation, automobile, and other modes of transportation.
  • To provide a location to display vintage aircraft, automobiles, and other modes of transportation.
  • To commemorate significant aviation events.
  • Establish aviation workshops and informational programs.
  • Provide a library of historic publications relating to aviation, automotive and other modes of transportation.

The Vintage Wings and Wheels Museum is a wonderful place to visit! The museum campus is a great place for kids of all ages to learn about aviation and automotive history in a close-up way that no other medium can provide. On certain days you can sear, hear, and feel the thunder of vintage airplanes flying overhead. 1920'and 30's automobiles putter around the tarmac and sometimes pass the old fire truck that is giving guest rides around the grounds. Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy yourself!

Donations gratefully accepted.
If you have vehicles or items you might wish to donate, you'd like to join, or you'd like to become a financial contributor to the museum, please contact us. Your help and support are most appreciated, and your contributions are tax deductible.

A museum doesn't run by itself. Help is always needed to staff the museum, restore items, create exhibits, and a million other tasks. Please contact us if you can contribute a little of your time to this wonderful endeavor.
