- Slim's
Garage
-
- "Slim's Garage" is the
newest addition to our museum campus. This vintage building was formerly
located on a quiet street in Green Lake, Wisconsin. Not much is known
about it, but it was believed to have been an automotive service
facility erected in the 1920s or 1930s. It got its name from faded
lettering still visible on the building.
-
- Due to the efforts and
diligence of Roger Boeke and others, Slim's Garage was disassembled,
moved and re-built just west of the museum's Sunoco Station.
-
- Our plans are for it to
be displayed as a vintage automobile dealership and repair facility.
